A New Mustang and even maybe a New Camaro?

A couple of days ago i was reading off of Moter Trend's website and I saw a story of how the mustang was going to get a makeover in 2015.  I saw some of the pictures of the Mustang and to me it looks like its just going to be a shinier and newer Evo.  But still something that I have noticed is with these pony cars is when one company changes the body style than another company changes the body style of their car.  I noticed this relevant back with cars like the Pontiac Firebird how it had a new body style in 70 from the original body style in 69.  This is also apparent with the Cheverolet Camaro how it had some change from 69 to 70.  Even Cheverolet did this with the Camaro at the time.  Oh and by the way these body styles that i am calling them re actually called generations.  But anyways, what worries me that Cheverolet may decide to go with the flow that Ford is doing and decide to begin creating a new generation for the Camaro just to give the Mustang competition for buyers like you.  I think though that now the Camaro is actually a really nice looking cars like the 12 version is really nice and in my opinion a lot nicer than the mustang.  I hope Camaro doesnt do it but i feel they will. 

Cars, Gas, Advice Too???

Cars are at that point where there is nothing better than them now.  We are finding out new ways to make them all better as long as your ready to pay that extra buck.  But what worries me is what is going to be happening in the future for cars.  I honestly doubt well have anything like those in the TV show the Jetsons except what I am worried about is that right now we are hitting well a period of just crappy cars.  This is only a opinion but this wouldnt even be just the first period because weve seen a period of crap before in 85-95.  We had just hideous cars because at that time people were understanding that they needed better gas mileage.  Back then yes they worked to it and they set us up for today as a landmark as how cars could possibly be.  Now though we see people going to dealers going to used car lots and all they care about is the gas mileage.  There all going there looking for Civics and Corrollas with the 21st century body styles.  And these are expensive too depending on the gas mileage.  Back in 01 if you wanted a new car you could go out and buy a base new VW Jetta for just about 15k now that idea is gone and people are having to pay like a good 12k-13k for just like an 07 corolla.  Its all dependent on the mileage though.  I mean though people are being looking at Corollas now that are really not even nice looking cars to me but wouldnt you rather get something like a Cadillac CTS,  Sure obviusly it would have more miles and you would be paying more on gas but guess what ive noticed as a trend on craigslist lately.  These cars like the CTS are going for the same prices as those corollas.  Now i dont know if something is wrong with those cars or something but still.  People need to start looking and weighing their options before they just jump to conclusions about these cars.  Think it through.  To me its CTS>Corolla. 

Happy Birthday Ford Mustang!

Today is the Ford Mustang's 48th birthday.  I honestly can say that i hate the mustang and that its a horrible in my view.  But throughout these 48 years you can notice change coming through.  Ford started the Mustang as a small call that they werent sure would completely work.  The mustang is a huge reason of Ford's success in the years.  I feel that Ford would not be were they are today if back 48 years ago today the decision of the Ford Mustang was made.  I may hate it but it still is a great car for people to look up to and thats how it went into the hearts of people all around the world.

Ferrari 458 Italia

Overall today there are many great cars that everyone would want.  There is the stunning new mclaren there is the bugatti veyron, hell there's even the Ariel atom v8.  All of these built to be fast and great.  But the one I think is the best and on my top 10 list is the ferrari 458 Italia.  I mean this car is stunningly beautiful and I am not just saying this because it is a ferrari.  In fact not all ferraris were all beautiful.  For example take the f60, which is more commonly known as the enzo.  It was only fast it wasn't beautiful.  I know it was only desighned like that to be aerodynamic but its as if they had all the parts for the car and then gave a 10 year old pen and paper to desighn it.  Back to the 458 though.  This car is beautiful.  It like  the  enzo was desighned to be aerodynamic.  Except with the 458 it wasn't desighned so much better.  It's scientifically smart too.  For example when you are going at high speed the air ducts all hunker down to get more air into the engine.  It also has direct fuel injection which recently hasnt been to common for ferraris lately.  The thing I don't like about the 458 is the steering wheel.  The problem is with the 458 and many other cars is that there are to many things on the steering wheel.  I mean it was fine when there was the traction control and some other stuff on it.  But let's say you are at a light about to turn left then you turn left and need to turn right immediatly.  You just woudnt know which indicator to use.  It's a confusing mess.  Luckily though you don't need to use indicators on the track, because this car is even better on the track than on the road. It's acceleration is just great and when you get to those high speeds it still feels great. This car is great.

Porsche 918 Spyder

Arite guys so many of you may know how much of a huge fan of Porsche fan I am and when I hear they are putting a new car out I go crazy.  This new car is beautiful.  This new car is fast.  This car will hopefully be coming out some time during 2012.  This car is the Porsche 918.  So far I have learned a good amount of information about it.  This car is both a normal car that runs on gasoline buy also it can run on purely electricity for up to 30 miles.  This car is a combination of the Porsche 917 and the Porsche carrera GT.  Most of the body style comes from the Porsche 917 while much of the interior comes from the carrera GT particularly the center console and the dash board.  This car though also is said to be very vast because of its immense speed.  It is said to be even faster around the nurberg ring than the Porsche carrera gt.  I just can't wait for this car to come out.  This to me is a beggining to a new Porsche.  Starting off with technology that is now going to affect the whole supercar world.  When the car is finally released I will definetly post about it with more info

Pontiac Trans Am

Alright so many of you may not know of the legacy and important history of the Trans Am.  I personally love Trans Ams just because i consider them the starting point of Pontiac.  Frankly though i hate the current trans ams because there were just weak and have very little power.  The trans ams that i like are the 69-72 year models.   These were by far the best pony cars out at the time.  They were VERY strong at the time the came out.  In fact some even had about 400 HP.  Nowadays though when you look at the huge list of older cars you would think Ferrari or Lamborghini, and even i would.  But the fact of the matter is that Pontiac Trans Ams were beasts at the time.  They were luxurious, they were fast, and well built.
Many people though do not seem to understand what kind of car a Trans Am was.  Trans Ams were pony cars and NOT muscle cars.  The term pony car means a car that is affordable, compact, and highly sporty.  Some other pony cars would be like the camaro or mustang.

A huge reason why i love the trans am is because many of them came with a huge Fire bird on the hood

Which Super Car Should I Get?

NEW OR USED? When ever you plan to buy a super car you should usually only buy them new.  This is because when ever you  buy a used car their could be a problem with it that you did not notice it being there when you got it.  For example the brakes could be over used or the battery could be bad or even those custom tires that you were told were in perfect condition could be bad.  So all in all buy it new instead of used.  So now that you know used vs. new.

POWER OR SMOOTH RIDE?Now though you must pick a car.  People like me would think POWER POWER POWER but no you should never buy a car just for power.  instead, be like me and look for a car that has a smooth ride and does not look like crap.  For example to all you Mercedes fans.  Many of you have seen that new Mercedes AMG.  This is a beautiful car, except it has few but very noticeable problems.  Like the biggest problem being how low it is to the floor and how it has a terrible turn radius.  But, to me the biggest problem is the ride is just plain rubbish.  The car keeps on moving all about making it very uncomfortable.  Why would you ever buy a car if you feel uncomfortable driving it.  It makes no sense.  It may be pretty fast and have 400 and so horsepower except its just uncomfortable mostly i think because it has A LOT of Tork.  Yes... even a car as beautiful as the AMG has problems sadly.  

BRAKES AND CORNERS? So now you know that POWER is not the main factor to look at.  Instead you should begin to look at a few other things like breaks.  You want your breaks to be good enough so it will stop you from hitting the car in front of you. but also you want your breaks to be able to just slow you down just enough so you can make a corner Perfectly and the reemerge with a good amount of speed.  A car that would be great would be like that new Porsche Carrera 911, which is just beautiful on the corners.  

STYLE? Now you have found a car with good brakes and a good drive.  But now you have yet another problem... style.  I mean sure you could get a car like a Gumpert Apollo or an Aerial Atom, which are both great cars in almost every category except most definitely not style wise. Frankly to me and most people these cars look terrible.  So what car can you gt that doesn't look bad except has the good looks?  I believe I have found the answer.  

THE PERFECT CAR? The Aston Martin DB9 to me is the perfect car.  The DB9   has a beautiful interior made mostly of leather and it has a great dashboard.  It has a very comfortable ride because the seats feel great and also because of the great suspension.  The outside of the car even looks great as do the other Aston Martins.  The shape of the Aston is like that to help support aerodynamics.  The DB9 has also great Power because it has over 450 horse power!  its breaks are great for corners and also emergencies and its at a decent price too.  This is by far one of the greatest super cars.
